PD: Mahwah Fugitives With Meth, Ecstasy, Machete, More In Car Nabbed In PA

MAHWAH, N.J. – An out-of-state couple who took off after Mahwah police found crystal meth, cocaine, Ecstasy and other drugs in their car two months ago were busted in Pennsylvania, authorities said Monday.

Trevor D. Green, 27, of Butler, Pennsylvania, was arrested on robbery charges and 32-year-old Rachel E. Topping of Salida, Colorado, taken into custody with him after officers there discovered the Mahwah warrants.

Mahwah Officer Tyler Boucher had suspected there were drugs in the vehicle after stopping it on Route 287 in August for a traffic violation in August, Police Chief James N. Batelli said.

Crystal methamphetamine; Cocaine; MDMA/Ecstasy; Prescription pain pills; Xanax; Marijuana; Various drug paraphernalia; A machete Roughly $2,000 in suspected drug money, which was seized pending forfeiture action.
